This is a new one on me. Twitter's been having growing pains recently with their not infrequent outages and with twitter over IM not working right now. I guess this is what happens when you are not prepared to scale your app to the support massive number of people who want to use your service in this age of internet super popularity.
Twitter Vision and Twistori are still working so I've got something to get my twitter fix on. I'm also having problems with Hahlo on my iPod Touch but I'll bet it's not their fault and that they're just running into the same problems with twitter that I am. (That or the fact that my iPod is still on the earliest version of the OS.)
I've been having other problems with firefox and iGoogle. I guess it's not my day for web 2.0 apps.

Google Groups

In my goal to use every single Google product there is I have ventured into Google Groups for the first time. Well, I did subscribe to a couple small ones earlier and that was a taste but now I'm running a group for a purpose. Usually the groups I am involved with use Yahoo Groups but with the threat that Microsoft might acquire and assimilate Yahoo in some fashion on my mind I want to migrate away from them as fast as I can. Next step, get my mother to use gmail instead of yahoo's classic mail interface.
I like Google groups so far. I'm rocking the pages section which is unlike anything I ever used on Yahoo. It's so very useful and in less than an hour I've compiled a huge amount of relevant information for my group onto one page. I really like the layout of the information and the theme I am using is beautiful to look at.
I don't like the 10mb limit on file sizes. I need to upload some 20mb pdfs and I can't. i haven't heard of google buying any drop.io like sites yet and I know they don't have a competitor for amazon's S3 service, that would have made the headlines. Well, at least this is a chance for me to try out drop.io. Which I just did and it's pretty great.

Twitter Facebook App is Broken
The twitter facebook application seems to be broken. I have the twitter app set to automatically set my tweets to by my status in facebook. I noticed that the current tweet was old. So I went looking at the twitter app itself and this little screen shot here is part of what I found.
Get Satisfaction says that twitter is aware of the problem.
