Bookmarking

Ok, before I make a post on this for my web 2.0 course I just want to remind every one that the term is "bookmarking" not "book marking" it is one word. It means to make a bookmark for, book marking means making a mark in a book. You people are librarians I expect better from you! :p I know it's not the best term, but what does a bookmark do in books? It keeps your place or reminds you of where an important fact or passage or table or picture or whatever is. Well that's what a bookmark does on the internet, it reminds you where you found something that you wanted to be able to reference later.
